I so understand.

A few weeks ago we had to put two of ours down . . . . IT was a first for us too and did not go as well as it should of!

We still think about it . . .

This part of raising chickens we just haven't been able to get a grasp on. . . .

That must have been difficulty, chickylaura, but you did the best you could with her. I dread the day I have to put one down.

My son recovered after an hour of so of scooby doo. Once the numbness wore off he was fine, and no more upset stomach, either.

Karl, a pool is my next investment for my house. And a tall fence......

That strawberry cake sounds delicious, Rancher! I had a choclate one from the store - it was yummy, but not the same as homemade.

I'm up way the heck too early. The meds only helped a little. I'm breathing okay right now but laying down I feel like I'm drowning. Yuck.

So, sitting up. Cough drops actually help too.

Morning every one. Tough night got an ear ache made sleeping hard. Not sure if it's the ear or the teeth on that side. My sinus is deviated on that side too so it's all a crap shoot what's causing the trouble. I refuse to have surgery.

Weather is nice though in the 30's. Chickens get to go out.

Good morning chicken wranglers
Ranch my girls are out today also .50 today and 60 tomorrow with winds up to 40 mph. Nice but tricky.Would have dried thoings out if they had not have added rain to the forcast. Oh well no good deed should go unpunished if you know what I mean.
Anna I always get in the sauna and sweat at least twice a week, and right away when I feel the awful sympthoms coming on . Hope your recovery is speedy.
Chicks we live out far enough no fence is needed " dont even sport curtains on the windows,. Well God Bless!

Ooh Anna sorry your sick, it's going around here too. I'm praying not to get sick. I'm planning to go to AL next week or sooner if I hear from Claudia. There is a show in GA 2 1/2 hrs from Birmingham.

Everyone else here is sick including baby Darcy.

Daughter has to get her tonsils and adenoids out on March 7. Glad I could get 4 days off from work. I figure I'll be able to get a little bit of work done here while she's resting on the couch.

karl, glad you're going to have some nice 'warm' weather. We're going to have temps in the low 60's supposedly on Friday.

Have a good evening! I'm actually just going out to drink a cup of coffee right now, at 5:21 PM. Oh well!!!

Morning people,
I woke up to 27 degs this morning, it's getting warmer with a chance of rain. I sitting down to a nice ham/cheese/hot red pepper omelet. I haven't had one of them in a very long time.

Feels like spring is in the air. I can start working on some outside projects this weekend. The better half is going to be laid up for a bit. I am taking her to a oral surgeon today. dun dun dun dun dun dun.........( every one old enough to remember the "Jaws" music?).

I hope everyone feels better.
