It was DHs insurance company writting to say they just cancelled his life insurance!!!
Lovely apparently after 26yrs with the same company now they tel us he is uninsurable because he had heart surgery! Nice!

Don;t you just love these folk who take all your money for years and years and then dump you when something goes wrong! Of course now DH thinks they all think he is going to die - well Yes but hopefully not this week and certainly not until I have another life policy in place!

(have to maintain the lifestyle being a princess and all!)

personally I would lend you my palace to put that kid and the Parents - In the dungeon!!!!!!!!! But sadly I can't my kingdom is limited to a bunch of chickens in a mud puddle at the moment

funny thing is I think I found a couple of odd shoes and a wet sock in there - Ummmm? Of course they can;t be mine! And the cows here never laugh at me!

Good morning, chicken wranglers. We are having spectacular weather. It is finally cooling off, and I'm spending as much time as possible outside. Worked on the aviary and BF got some beautiful bamboo that we planted in several spots. It's going to look so nice once its full grown.
I'm afraid one of my hens has cocci. I lost the one chick, and now she is acting odd. Puffed up, standing still and closing her eyes now and then. BF will be out in the more rual areas tomorrow for work, and will find a feed store that carries corid. The feed store I usually go to sold me tetracycline when the white chick was sick. I don't know why I listen to them. Never again.

Well, time to get ready for church, then back outside to finish taking down the old coop before my friend comes to pick it up. We are having an octoberfest type party next weekend, and need to get the back yard in shape.

No good were just visitin and darn yankees were ther to stay.I turned out to be only no good.

Looks like we are finally going to have some sunshine for awhile. I think our chickens were starting to quack. We are heading off to the Windham High Peaks today. A easy little hump.

It was nice to see trees really big. I got pics but this darn camera is going into the trash and I'm getting a new one. You can see the family walking under the branches that were so long and big they bent down to the ground like a canopy. Very nice. Nothing like that here in NY.

The houses were beautiful and I did bring back some Scuppernong, Mayhaw and Watermelon jellies. We can only grow watermelons here. I'm not sure if we can get the other two here. Not that I know what they are. I don't think I've ever saw a Mayhaw. Is that like a HeeHaw?

Well the kids went horse back riding and ran around the huge yard, but it's nice to be home. Much to do still before the snow flies.

De sun! De Sun! I feel like Tattoo on Fantasy Island. I see shadows and everything. hopefully run will start to dry out. We have frost warnings tonight so put a 15 watt heater in my water bucket waterer.

Will see how it works before getting a bigger one. It is for 5 - 10 gallons and I am doing 1.5 at most. Hopefully it will work when the temp really gets cold. It is supposed to keep the water 5 to 10 degrees warmer then the ambiant room temp. I hope the girls can keep the coop above freezing.

What about suet blocks for treats? The kind with all the seeds and nuts in them.

Dh had more test results... has neourapothy, so his days of Working
in the back forty are over..have to check into getting a motorized chair.

also price is good.

Good morning People,
Nice cool morning here, mid 30's. I'm tempted to start the stove this morning. I'll have to see what the better half says. If I can understand her between all the chattering..... I'm splitting wood today, trying to get on top of it.
It was nice on the high peaks yesterday. We were sitting on an over hang, and had some geese fly under us. Guess what I wanted to do.....It was a nice peaceful day. We should have bought more of picnic food then humping food. Instant calories just doesn't do it with the view/temps/company we had. A nice bottle of wine, pepperoni, cheese and crackers were in order.

Hello Sissy, We have a change of people hear in September, snow caps leave and college students arrive. We'll have the snow caps back when the leaves change. Yes, if I had more hair, I would be a snow cap. My winter fuzz is coming in pretty white. I blame it on the ladies...... I had a full head of hair before I got married.
