It's 40 in Albuquerque right now and is supposed to get down to the mid-twenties tonight. Pretty typical for this time of year. My ladies spent last night outside but are tucked up warm inside tonight!

Sounds like we'll be spending Saturday night battening down the hatches. The winds have started here in Renton. House is being pelted with flying debris. Sounds like a rock storm. I piled bags of landscaping bark on top of the run. Don't want to lose the roof. I just hope we don't lose power, last time I was out for a week. Don't ever want to do that again.

We have had a week of wearing shorts and tee shirts here. They say it will get cold tomorrow nite though. One thing I do love about Alabama is that although it can get cold it only lasts for breif periods and then the Sun comes out and warm air blows in from the Gulf

Tomorrows high will be 49 with temps dipping into the low 20's.

Currently 6 F outside, 22 F in the chicken coop, and a tropical 63 degrees in my house (yes I heat my house). I love my wireless thermometers.
