Hmm. I see why you are confused. She might actually be both.
The barring gene (causes barred, crele, or cuckoo) puts white bars across whatever other pattern a chicken has. So a chicken can have lacing or some other pattern, and then white barring over that. That can give some really odd-looking effects sometimes.
Thank you! That makes sense - I bet her mom is my laced easter egger, especially since she's bearded and her mom is bearded. Dad was the blue and silver/gold barred guy. She's honestly one of my favorite hatches! I have another one that's a hot mess. Another partial barred bird with barring on her tail feathers and neck. Random spots of white on some of her feathers too.
