Hello, I was kindly guided to the Colorado thread from new member introductions. My husband, dog and I will happily be leaving Texas next month and moving to Colorado. We are hoping to find some property, roughly up to 50 miles east/southeast of Colorado Springs. I'm a career veterinary technician and there's job opportunities for me in that area. One of the things I am most excited about is finally living where I can have chickens. I've kept nearly every pet imaginable at some point, but I find myself spending huge amounts of time online researching about keeping chickens. My husband is a master carpenter who's chomping at the bit to build our first coop.
I am looking forward to talking and sharing with everyone.
