This a a little off topic. But i swear that i saw one of my hens doing the backstroke and getting some exercise in the six inches of water in my yard this morning. Lol
Maybe is was one of my geese. They are loving this weather.

They are beautiful. I especially like Teddy. The one I kept from you is cute. I thought she would turn mottled but so far she is still completely black. We originally named her freckles but it doesn't really fit now so we're trying to come up with something else.

Update on the chickens (eggs) we got from CO BYC members:

Here is our little cochin from Suncatcher's eggs.


And here is a rooster from her eggs. His name is Dinner. He has neat coloring but he has wry tail and most importantly is mean to the girls! Which is why he is in the grow out cage. (don't worry, he doesn't use that waterer)

btw, I saw this post on Craigslist today. They say they have cochins. No pics or details so I'm not sure of quality, but thought I'd share in case anyone is interested
