She said he complained again and they are just sending me the notice. It bothers me... and top it off my drake Elvis died last night of suspicious circumstances. I suspect my neighbor might have poisoned him.

I just want my babies safe until this blows over. Sweet roosters. Excellent flock protectors! ! Very friendly!

Since we had sun yesterday we took the opportunity to get the babies into the run. Here are a few shots, the flock was definitely interested in them. This was a big day for the babies, lots of wing flapping, chest bumping and plenty of playing king of the hill.

First dirt bath, these two where the only ones that discovered the joys of a good bath.

Why are you suspecting your neighbor? What are the suspicious circumstances?

Elvis appears to have been poisoned. I'm sending him in for necropsy.

Neighbor got mad that I moved the duck hutch with Elvis and Trouble to that side of the yard and started calling code enforcement.

I thought I had seen something get thrown over the fence a few times last week, but never found anything... my drake died in my arms last night. His mate is hearbroken.

I'm furious.

I have been hearing about "flock rentals" for a while, but hadn't seen anything yet...until today. I can not believe someone thinks that this is ok

Not only because of the diseases flock owners are already dealing with, but now because of avian flu that is spreading like wild fire. What is wrong with people? If the OP knew anything, they would not be doing this.

I have her over there to raise her ducklings away from the bustle of the other flock members.

She's on alert, they are pretty much staying in the barn. I don't blame them.

Do you still have your chickens? I live in Ft Lupton and just got some chicks in Mar. Looking for someone to pal around with and maybe watch each others chickens when out of town.
