I got a question from a gentleman this morning on our Facebook page. He is from Colorado Springs and is looking for a local breeder of Australorps. He wants pullets only. This ad was on Craigslist Colorado Springs. His range in age 8 months to three years, so not pullets, and they include Red sex links, Australorps, and Barred Rocks. He is asking $5 each. Here is his e mail, John R. Callahan, Jr <[email protected]> He also has Guinea's.

Another source is "Get To Know Your Farmer, they are on Facebook". I know they had Australorps pullets last fall, not sure what they have now.......

#1 is a a barred rock Rhode island red mix

#2 is an easter egger Cochran mix

#3 is an easter egger Rhode island red mix

#4 is another easter egger Cochran mix

#5 is an easter egger Cinnamon queen mix

#6 is a Marian cross...I am unsure if the dad is the Rhode island red or Cochran...I am thinking Rhode island red.

Lordy... Little boy blue just crowed for the first time today. And he is NOT quiet. I opened the coop door and he let'em rip! Anyone else out there want a free Silkie roo?

I can't wait to hear him tomorrow . I have always wanted a silkie he is pretty sweet...I was snuggling him when my neighbor came over and I answered the door with him tucked under my arm...would I b crazy if I never put him outside lol my son changed his name to Chicken Little. He wouldn't keep his name no matter how much I begged <3. Thanks again!

Chicken Little, ! It's a cute name. And if you decide to make him a house chicken you will defiantly need some manly diapers for him!

Yay! My incubator arrived in the mail today!!!! DH only told me what he got me because he didn't think it would arrive before Christmas. Now DS is having a blast with the box they shipped in. Is big enough to be his little fort. DH even cut a window into it for him.
