Sorry I'm so late replying! Had to deal with lawyers, Social Security & PERA stuff & forgot to check back here!

I have 12 now. I'd be more than happy to meet you halfway from wherever you're located - I'm near Brighton/Hudson. I can bring them all & you can take your pick! They'll all have X's & O's since I've been making sure to turn them multiple times a day along with the ones in the incubator.

Right now, 6 are for sure still developing & 1 I'm not too sure about. I've got 13 days left. I hope TS has cheap big incubators. Just in case.

And I'm starting to get the feeling all 3 of these nuggets are males. That big grey/black one I'm more sure about. There's been a lot of chest bumping happening at all hours in their brooder! Also, I'm super disappointed in myself for not ordering some Dookashi before they hatched. This other stuff I bought sucks & wow. I finally know why everyone complains about brooding inside! *whew*

I'm not interested in any eachicks. Just wanted you to be able to hatch as many as possible. I'll be over at my mom's in Erie both sat and sun. Could meet you at I25 (Costco). How big are the eggs compared to chicken?

Thanks Margie. Sadly no pipping today so we are at somewhere between 36 - 48 hours since the 3rd egg hatched so I think it's safe to say 3 out of 9 is what the final count will be.....

Something I'm curious about and would like input from any of you willing to give it. Is there such a thing as interbreeding in the chicken world? So basically what I'm asking is if my roo who fertilized the eggs of the chicks I just hatched ever mated with them if they are pulleys would it create possible genetic problems?
I don't ever plan on this, if they are pulleys they will go into a different flock, I'm really just curious as eventually I'm sure offspring will mix since I do free range.

Oh, my bad! With not having a job now, I wasn't expecting 7 peachicks to develop. I will be at my max right now if 2 hatch & don't need anymore. Mostly just asking around if anyone was interested in raising peafowl from the start. Thank you, though!

From my understanding, interbreeding is how people create their own strain of chicken breeds.
