He is calling the girls to the food he has found for them! Wait till you see him with a piece of bread.........

That thought hit me this morning. It is so funny to watch and listen to him. He is such a good man and seems to be taking pretty good care of his ladies! He has discovered the banty rooster Wilbur on the other side of the fence! Wilbur gave him all he had and then some. Good thing the fence was there otherwise it might have been pretty ugly!

I will have to take a piece of bread down there and throw it to him tonight!!!

My kid had another seizure this morning. Found him convulsing on the floor at the head of the bed. I'm a mess. He has no memory of it but has a huge honkin headache and just wants to sleep. I would appreciate your healing thoughts, please. And if anyone knows where I can get a seizure dog, please let me know.

When it rain, it pours.

Literally ... expecting all that rain over the next 4-5 days, with possibly snow.

AND my doeling looks like she's got a mucus drip so she might kid before her big sister.

I'm stretched beyond my limits.

I've started making phone calls to service dog providers. Waiting for calls back.

Hope I can get a grant or something for it. If I have to sell everything I have to pay for the dog, I will.

Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts.

hugs and prayers for you. We've been dealing with a seizure disorder since my 12 yr old was 9 months. It has caused severe LD and was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago. He's had brain surgery, has been on every med out there. He is one of the 3% that cannot be controlled by meds or surgery. I feel your hurt I really do. There are a couple of people on here that deal with service dogs I think. Go to search and look for it. Good luck you and your child are in my thoughts.

greeneggs, our thoughts are with you! Hope he feels better very soon.
The mucus drip preceded my does delivery by only a few hours and that was her first freshening, so it could be literally ANY TIME, good luck.

As far as the upcoming swaps I havent heard anything..

What is your son's diagnosis? My Mom works for Health and Human Services and if i know the diagnosis I can ask her about specific programs you may qualify for. Good thoughts coming your way in the mean time!

I'm so sorry to hear about your son, I totally understand what your going though my step-son is 32 years old this year and his Mother couldn't handle the seizures or him so she left. He was born with Hydrocephalus ( water on the brain ) and Cerebral Palsy and on top of that he's blind his age level is 2 to 4 years old. And I know after he's had a bad seizure he just wants to sleep sometimes he'll sleep for 12 to 14 hours easy .
I will pray for you both.
Out here in Lakewood I have him in a program called DDRC ( Developmental Disabilities Resource Center ) and they help me with everything they even helped pay for a Ramp he need in our front yard
I hope you find a good program for him, and a Dog If I can help please email me
