Earlobes don't tell the color of the egg, that's just another one if those myths flying around the internet. EEs are a mix are bred in ways that make possible for any of the four egg colors, green, pink, brown, or blue, so you wont get blue or green.i have americaunas and olive eggers... why do they keep laying brow eggs if they have a green earlobe

But seriously--how good are EEs at going broody and raising chicks? Some of them? Most of them? I just started with chickens in late October, and am now reading up on EEs. Is there some sort of pattern to breeding them to lay one color of egg or another?
