*****UPDATE*****

It has been 1 week and a day since the chicks have arrived and they just finished their first 50 lb sack of food. They wasted very little, if I was to weigh all of the waste probably wouldn't be more then a pound or two.The worst thing about the rangers compared to the Cornish so far is that they seem to dig their litter up looking for more food. Their litter is about 6-8" deep and they dig it all the way to the shed floor. Wouldn't be bad except they fill all of the waters and food trays with litter. They will even have their heads in the food tray eating and be scratching at the same time ???

They are also lot more active in the brooder then the Cornish are. These things run from one end to the other flapping their wings trying to fly and they do for about an inch.

They are growing fast, they have doubled in size and have no bare spots of no feathers.

Have any new pics to see how big they gotten over the time?

Well here is pictures from yesterday. They are exactly 2 weeks from hatch in these pictures.

For some odd reason these things like to lay outside of the brooder huddled up with one another ?? The brooder is all the way down to being 75 and they still won't go in, this all started about 8-9 days ago. I have a IR temp gun and the huddle seems to say right in at 90. I have tried the brooder from 95 all the way to where it is at now and they prefer to stay huddled up with one another ??
