Love this photo! Your hens lay beautiful eggs!!I looked for that chart because of my two Wheaten Ameraucanas. One is all Wheaten colored with yellow legs and lays a bluer egg. The other is slightly smaller with a few dark feathers, slate legs but lays a greener egg.

HahaJust yesterday I delivered a dozen eggs to my childhood neighbor. (Only 1 white egg in the carton.) She is stunned by the colors and says she's not going to eat them they are to beautiful. I told her she better eat them or my girls will be offended.![]()
I have a basket of blown out eggs! I try to save their first. Then others I just find beautiful.Haha
Sometime I hollow out an egg and keep the shell, because I can’t bring myself to eat it
Thought I’d post some more photos of the eggs were getting at the moment!
Egg from my EE that recently started laying is 3rd from the left in each picture.

Ooh beautiful! The new layer is my favourite of them! I'm hoping I'll get some nice green colours from my EE's but I still have to wait awhile.Thought I’d post some more photos of the eggs were getting at the moment!

I use a large syringe and needle to blow out the eggs. The needle is sharp enough to cut through the shell. Then I shake the egg with the needle still inside to try and break everything up. I can then use the syringe to blow into the egg instead of popping an eye out of its socket.I'm doing the same!
