Oh..pew. My CR does not have all those black tail feathers yet and i thought she was a male for a sec...she is 14 weeks old and my Columbian Roch thread proved her to be a pullet. They are all 6 months old
At 15 weeks....seems a little early, BUT, definitely a pullet. If she's not laying yet, she will be soon. She looks to have a comb with more than the standard number of points, and that could be contributing to the size. I cannot see her tail feathers, but it looks as though she could be crossed with a delaware. Hackles should be solid black, edged in white

Hard to say if she is "too" big just from a picture. Are you certain of her age? My hens weigh in around 8+lbs at 1 yr old. By any chance have you weighed her?
MHeusserYour CPR's are just gorgeous! We have a small flock of 6 that came from Scott Brazinsk's flock. We just LOVE these birds. We are planning to show them this fall in the state poultry show. We just had two of the hens go broody and the bitties started hatching out yesterday. They are sitting on about 24 eggs between the two of them!
Bert - our big boy at about 6 months old!
"Blue" - he's a BLUE Columbian Plymouth Rock
