Columbian silkies?

I was wondering if any one was working on columbian silkies? I am very interested in doing a project pen with them. If you have any I would LOVE to see pics or hear about your project!
I was thinking of a white silkies paired with columbian cochins?? Does anyone know how the columbian gene works? I can never seen to get the calculator to work!
If you use a eWh based Columbian bird ( like Light Sussex), you won't have to do the color balancing in the under fluff that you have to do with eb (Brown) based Columbian birds.
The trade off is:
1. eWh has pure white backs and saddles unless the bird s carrying too much black and it leaks thru in the form of stippling as seen in the eb based Columbians. The under fluff is pure white to the skin.
2. eb based can have black stippling on back and saddle. More stippling than approved of, if the color balancing is improper in the under fluff.
The under fluff is tinted with some hue of grey.
