Comb Sickness?

I've noticed my rooster this past summer has had a scab like patch on his comb. I originally thought it would heal and go away, but it's been a few months now and no sign of healing. It occasionally bleeds and sometimes looks like it has a white pus like fluid. I've sprayed it with vetricin and no luck. Any idea what it could be or how to heal it?

One of my roosters had a scab on his comb similar to your rooster and I applied Neosporin to it daily for about 2 weeks. The scab slowly shrunk and healed up during that time frame.

Try Neosporin. Make certain it is not the pain relieving type with lidocaine. You don't want lidocaine getting in his eyes.
