Now have 2 EE's hatched, 1 Barred x Orp.

a marans external pip, a broiler external pip and another EE external pip.

I'm very excited cause I set them on a Sunday night I figured they wouldn't hatch til tomorrow and that I might have to go to work with them not hatched.

It must be contagious cause I went grocery shopping came back to two babies. One Easter Egger and One broiler.

Thats great that you have a friend that lets you use theirs. Thats what i have is a homemade cooler bator.Would love to build a fridge bator.
One day i hope to sale what i hatch and then some.I really want to raise some ducks and turkeys for meat and have plenty of eggs and ducks, turkeys to donate to local food banks.Just a little something id love to do.Sorry for rambling.

I am using 2-40 watt bulbs or 2-15 watt depending on what I have on hand. Here is a pic of it.



Now that I use it only as a hatcher I have taken out the turning rack for more room.

Very nice. My coolers got a single 100w in it now

HaHa if you do i wanna see the size of egg they would lay!Hey you could probaly feed your entire family with one egg. Ive heard they lay a pretty blue egg.
