GOOD LUCK on some bitzys!!Lockdown is tomorrow night for my first four eggs! I am so excited, I sure hope they hatch
. I think I finally got the hatchers to hold temp.... I didn't ever think I was going to get them stablized! I have a genisis 1588 with fan, auto turner, and digital temp and humidity readout for the incubator and it is so easy I don't have to do anything to it except add water. But the Hatchers have been a different story!! One is a very old Brewer and the other is a little giant and they were very hard to get steady temps in them. If you can keep from it don't go cheap on an incubator!![]()
Bummer...Have a nice day at work and hope it goes by fast for youCongrats to all the new hatches!!!! Have to work today. Hate the weekends.
Thank you! That is good to know! I feel better now! This is so very stressful!!!! Still working on getting the humidity to stay up, it goes up but then it goes back down pretty quick... Going to be a long night I am afraidGOOD LUCK on some bitzys!!. I think the temp isnt so VERY important duriing lockdown. Around 98.-100.2 is probably fine. They are grown by then enough to not need it TOO perfect now. More the humidity.![]()
I have the same problem wit h my hovabator for lock It does have a fan and the temps are just ok but for this part of the hatch idont worry too much at all.But the huimidity is hard to keep up
.I got up off and on all night on day 20 to make sure it stayed up and didnt drop below 65 and shrink wrap them.
