Come On AC we want some eggs!

She could still lay today! Or tommorow...

Sage is in the nestbox right now.

Yup! She layed her first, skipped a day, and has been laying ever since. Maybe she'll lay tommorow- that's usually how it works. You give up hope and then she lays :) .

Well, congratulations AC - you are 27 weeks old and still NO EGGS!

I don't want to make you feel bad - but your hatchmate Smokey has been laying since New Years Eve and is about to hatch out her own babies on Tuesday.

So please, please, please consider laying soon - won't you.

Sorry still no luck

Both my black stars started laying a few days ago on the same day! I'm sure you'll get eggs soon.

Thanks. That's great about your Black Stars - are they brown layers? I think I heard AC sneer at me when I went out to clean the coop today - either that or she chuckled. She's a hold out for sure. I've all but given up on her since I have so many new chicks to focus on right now. A week away from hatching some Wellies & Ameraucanas :)

Happy birthday AC

- you are now 29 weeks old

Do you think she'll lay me an egg for her birthday?

I dreamt the other night that I found her "hidden" nest - a pile of 50 or so eggs buried just under the straw/sand - the eggs were sticking out and I could clearly see them once my eggs were opened to them being there. HAHA! If only it were true!

Oh well - the best things are worth the waiting - but not too long please.

Aw, sorry she's still not laying. I had the same kind of dream waiting for my WL to lay! Finding a giant hidden nest of eggs in the bushes... :) . Any eggs today, then? Maybe she'll wait till her 30th, or her 33rd like mine did.

HAHA - yeah she'll probably wait until a year has passed - then decided to lay. I told her if she doesn't start soon she's going with the roosters to our friend's country property. A threat I would never carry out - but it sounded good at the time. I'm just hoping for her sake that she doesn't wait until after the Lavender Orpingtons start laying - or the Silkie for that matter - or she will have a whole lot of competition for those three little nest boxes. :)

Well AC Tuesday you turn 30 weeks old - and I warned you - if you didn't hurry up and start laying one of the LOs would lay before you - and look what happened!

Come on AC - I want one of your eggs!
