Get on the net and on the phone to find a farm supply store. Normally, they come in 4 x 6 ft, but there are smaller sizes too. I even have runners that I bought in 1986--still use--that are 2 x 6 ft. The thicknesses are 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch. The 3/4 inch are really heavy, and best used for >1K pound livestock--you won' t need that. 1/4 inch 4 x 6 ft usually runs $30-$40.
You only have to buy them once. I use them in my horse stalls and in my slant-load horse trailer, and the entrance is one-horse width, so I move them by rolling them (like you rolled a piece of paper to look through when you were a kid), which makes them stiff, then I grab the ends and can carry them. You can take a hose a scrub them down. They dry in the sun.
I suppose if you could get a a heavy-duty saw, you could trim them, but I've not ever done that.
