Plus you need to do a course to be able to look after wildlife, one of my friends did one to look after joey's, and they are very demanding, 3 feeds a day (or 4 depending on their weight) and outside time, helping them go to the toilet etc.

That's why I reckon I wouldn't be able to pull it off. Some people just have that touch with little animals, I don't.

A dog that wouldn't get hurt if I accidentally poked it in the wrong place sounds more like my thing. The closest thing I could find though was the RSPCA.

I'm pretty clunsy. Sometimes I end up poking myself in the eye at inconvenient moments.

I'll just check those out... oops! Wrong city.
lol.png
But I changed it round, and there are none near where I live. Then again, I suppose I could catch the train...

LOL, that's all right. I prefer not to put down my location anyway, because not many people in the States have ever heard of SA.

A lot of people think that Sydney is the capital of Australia.

Yeah, down where it's meant to be dry and hot. It's actually been pouring these past few days.

I know
lol.png
it's not though

Yea it hasn't been hot here at all.. hasn't gotten above 26C really, and its all rainy not that I am complaining, because i hate summer
lol.png

I almost got trapped at the train station the other day, the rain just wouldn't let up. I could barely see the road that I was heading for it was so heavy.
lau.gif

I'm not complaining either. It's good to finally have long days with low temperatures.

Yeah, that seems to be the general opinion. I'll see if I can find some nursing homes around my area. There actually aren't that many, most of the old folk seem to live in estates, there are several in my suburb.

IB doesn't only require community service, there's also 50 hours of creativity and 50 hours of sport, which I'm also going to struggle with seeing as I've been avoiding sport for as long as I can remember.
lol.png

I know when I worked in a nursing home they did crafts so you can volunteer for that and there is the creativity 50 hrs... and they also have the exercise time to and toy can help with that so there is the sport....LOL

For our high school students they need 0 hrs in order to graduate...my son who is 14 did his hours at the local food bank.
