How old are they in these photos? I have a couple of 8/9 weeks. One has a super red comb I'm convinced is a cockerel.

I started a thread on him and everyone said cockerel. I was convinced too, but his comb hasn't grown anymore since I noticed it turning red. Now I'm confused.I think they were 7-8 weeks old.

That's definitely a cockerel. Sometimes their combs don't always get larger, especially since its a pea comb. I haven't seen a pullet yet that has that color pattern.I started a thread on him and everyone said cockerel. I was convinced too, but his comb hasn't grown anymore since I noticed it turning red. He has a little sore from the older pullets picking on em. The time between these two photos is 2 weeks exactly.
