Okay, all joking aside, I agree with the others, if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true. It's easy for us outsiders to say "RUN THE OTHER WAY!" but not so easy to see the forest through the trees when you are smack dab in the middle of it.
You need to have a heart-to-heart talk with Jane and her family and let her know your concerns. If she truly believes this guys mojo is real, then she shouldn't have a problem having him investigated to verify. If she's not willing to do that, you may be able to contact the authorities and report a suspected predator (unfortunately, there are tons of them out there!) to have him checked out yourself. I hate to say this, and don't like to judge people, but if it is true, and he is legit, it sounds like he is too full of himself to be a good match for her.
Be a friend and give her the emotional support that she needs, no matter what. She's lucky to have someone like you in her life. I will keep her in my prayers!!!
