concerned for a friend personal safety & $ **update pg 17**

I do know the name of this guy.. and he has a website that links to MANY other sites... and they all look legit.. and he is named... I am thinking this "Adam" id a real person but someone has assumed his identity

I have spent HOURS researching him and I cant find one blunder. the only hitch I can find is he has a gmail account... if he is a doctor would he not have a ****@ (insert clinic name here) email address..

or if he was part of all those boards the same thing... OK thats a lot of emails to check so yes he may have FWD it all to the gmail... thats how he explains it to her.

the telephone number is for a cell number in the Orlando ares he says its cause he lived in Orlando and moved to Miami Beach and it was easier to keep the number.

All of his achievements were made or acquired between 2008 and 2010 . he claims he entered med school in 2005 and graduated in 2010.. and in his last 2 years of med school he got 12 personal and professional certifications or awards in the last 2 years of med school... AND received the DEAN'S award.. the highest award for students.

ETA.... I just found a you tube video of him.. he sounds legit... BUT I still think he is a real person but someone has assumed his ID

I agree that the whole thing sounds fishy but I do have a "professional" email and I don't use it for anything personal. All family and friends email me through a yahoo or google mail account.

Also, do you think your friend has been honest with him? I know we shouldn't be so shallow as to care what somebody looks like on the outside but most of us do.

I'm suspicious of the dude but it could be because of the latest ARUBA story in the news. Things that are too good to be ture usually aren't and that is especially so in relationships.

I think I found the website you are talking about. This does scream "scam" . Pretty men who are doctors who are also international ambassadors who are also Mr.Iron Man do not spend many hours sending emails to women they have never met, nor have any guarantee of meeting. They have a lot of ummmm...."options" ....I do not think it is that guy emailing your friend, like someone said possibly someone throwing his name around.

The situation you describe is exactly what a good friend of mine went through. She is short and very overweight and the internet guy was an engineer for all kinds of secretive places he wouldn't mention. She went so far as to meet him halfway between CA and Ohio where he lived.

He never showed up. Turns out his wife found out about my friend and sent her a REAL picture of her busband, who is a janitor at a local community college.

The times these days? If she wants to meet him, someone needs to go with her. Period.

Based on the OP it took me about 30 seconds to find this guy's website. Two choices: A, it's all a scam. B, everything on his website is legit and he is a tool.

Is his gmail account the same as the one listed on his website? If so, maybe it really is the same guy but I would still be very suspicious of his motives. That just doesn't jive with what usually happens in life.
