We just noticed our female pekin limping today. It’s looking to me like somehow she’s got 2 bumbles in each foot. I’ve not dealt with bumblefoot personally yet. Can someone confirm?

Early bumbles so with Epsom salt soaks an some clear iodine you might get this under control pretty quick. Do soaks an iodine till you can peel off the scabs easily then you will need to get out the infection. That’s when you’ll need to wrap. To protect till healed.

How many times a day do I soak for? And like 5-10 minutes right?

I’ve never cut I use sterile tweezers but you might not have to do anything if you soak and use the clear iodine just do that till the scabs come off then post pics of what’s underneath

Do we have an approximation of how long this may take? Regular scanning time? 3-5 days maybe?

I notice that in the first picture, there is a small brown pointy-looking item protruding from you duck’s foot near the tip of your ring finger. Is it possibly a sticker or splinter? I’m not saying no to bumblefoot and would concur with Miss Lydia about treating it before it progresses, but could the limp be coming from a thorn?
