Confused old lady needing help!

I bought these chickens from someone that told me they were Barred Rock Bantams. After reading that Barred Rocks are supposed to lay brown eggs...I am totally confused. Although I get a brown egg once in a while, most are white. Could anyone please explain to me what kind of chickens these are..thanks so much!

Those look like California grey actually especially with the white eggs.

I am not only old..I must be color blind. lol These are the eggs...they are not what I call a brown egg and yet when I put them next to a grocery store white egg they are different...more light brown.

Probably California Greys but maybe mixed with Barred Rocks or BR Bantams.

Thats maybe why they give the brown tint.
