I have bad news about egg number two,We checked the egg and decided to open it and it turned out to be twin chicks, they were black and white. The egg must have been a double Yoker.
P.S the first chick is a mix.

Thank you, once I saw they were twins I couldn’t hold back my tears. Thanks for the hugs. The first chick and mommy are doing great. I will post pictures.

It's so sad to wait so long only to be met with disappointment.

But HUGE congrats on the cute little chick!!! Do you know what breeds were mixed? It sure is a cutie!!!

My understanding is twins can happen, but it's rare. A lot of people in BYC have tried to hatch them, but I have not personally run across anyone who has had them hatch successfully.
