I want a silkie badly, but dh says no they must be good layers since 6 is our max.

Wow! What an awesome weekend! I met and educated so many ppl on chickens and sold so many birds! I sold 9 pullets, 2 roo's, and 6 straight run chicks! Talk about supply and demand........ Daphne I had to pull kids away from the 6 babies I set aside for you! I can't believe how many folks were bitten by the chick/chicken bug this weekend! All and all though I met some really nice folks and awesome peeps! I love raisen birds!

Dh and I are mulling over coop designs and having so much fun doing it.

I talked to the feed store in town Animal House and ordered feed on Friday. I am going to build a perch (for in the brooder) and feeder for them today. We will build the coop the weekend after Easter. Hehe
