LOL your too funny!! I have a partridge hen doing the samething and I did try for a week not to let her go broody but, she got her way on Sunday!

Boy I'm not reallly used to change so I sure hope this change will be easy to figure out!

You are lucky. I've heard of many many horror stories about the auction. Many are about Mycroplasma or being sold a pullet that was actually a 3+ yro hen

I'm glad you had a good experience though b/c I guess they all can't be bad or that place wouldn't be selling any poultry. I just hope if you do buy again you Quarentine your new feathered friend for a min of 3 wks b/c it takes 21+ days for Mycroplasmas AKA: CRD to rear it's ugly head and Lower Middlesex and Lower New Haven county had a huge outbreak this past year

I would hate to see your healthy birds get sick.
