Connecticut!

From your picture I take it you have at least one Leghorn. How do they handle the winters? I just got two leghorn chicks for some white eggs.
I've had them for over five different Winters different batches, and they do perfectly fine in a 5 x 7 coop not heated and I use the deep litter method and I don't clean all winter and I think it keeps them warm...I board up most of the windows leaving just a little room for cross ventilation at the top.... If I see that they're combes are getting a little frostbitten I put Vaseline on them... But that is far and few in between other than that they are cold hardy..:thumbsup:wee

I also let them out in their run during winter.... I shovel if it snows...I don't let them out if it's snowing though lol or if it's really cold and bad out

I am not familiar with that part of the state so I can’t help you there.
The more space you have the better off you will be. The further your neighbors are the better off you’ll be. Basically I wouldn’t plan on buying a house close to others and not expect to get complaints if my rooster is yapping away at 4am. Good luck in your search!
