I showed my DH & DD the photos, we are soooo happy for him.
I know he's in the best hands, and it is so great that he has a buddy too.

Your DH is absolutely right - very laid back. My DD would pick him up while freeranging multiple times daily and he never complained, obviously liking the attention and the "free rides" around the yard. He also luvs his neck to be pet.

aww @ the chicks peeping when squeezed, I would feel bad too!

Yes he definitely loves the neck rubs lol! I felt bad for him in QT by himself so my DH and I gave him more attn and he really liked it.

Has anyone ever been out to the Common Ground High School/Farm in New Haven? They have chickens there and I feel I need to advocate for them, but am not sure how to go about it.

Anyone can go onto the school grounds and see the animals... so if you are in New Haven.. stop by and see if you agree with me.

Hmm, I've never been so I can't say. But, now that you just said all of that I will be sure to stay the heck away from there in fear of bringing back the nasties

I hear you b/c I see that every now and then at different ppl's properties. I try to just look and not speak b/c sometimes ppl can't take the advice and get upsett at me

I too would stay away from there for fear of bringing something home to my own flock. Poor chickens
