Ok so I am really upset I bought 6 chicks from TSC 3 weeks ago and it turns out all 6 are cornish cross meat chickens. I can not bring my self to kill them for meat, I am looking for layers so is anyone will to take the 6 chicks? also on the same front I want to pick up 2-3 more layers as I have 2 Cinnamon Queens already so that will give me 4-5 layers. Anyone know where I can get 2-3 chicks?

Coop Tour is Saturday the 5th of May starting at Wakeman Town Farm at 10 am where you pick up your map to follow. It is most certainly chickens!! There is a get together from 12 to 2 at the farm afterwards. I was planning to be there with chicks for sale but there has been a hiccup with my plans and I might not be able to get there....not sure yet.....

Did anyone make it to the coop tour? I couldn't get there in time. 10-12 isn't much of a window to see 15 coops. Maybe next year they will be better at getting the word out.

Missed the coup tour -in fact, didn'r know it mwas more than a rumor until it was over I'm still up for a small BYC coop tour of our own though!
