Ozawkie, I take my sick birds to work with me all the time. Only a few of the vets will agree to work on them, because they are just not comfortable, but we always manage to get them fixed up. Good luck with your teal girl.
Well there is some good news. I have her in a small pet taxi in the house an I witenessed her eating and drinking as well as trying to play in the water like normal, but she is useing her wings to help her move. I hope this Vet tomorrow can fix her
Well if the permit if free why is it even necessary? Geez
Sure sorry to hear about your ducky. I pray she'll be fixed up in no time. I asked for prayer for my chicken at church Sunday. I figure if it's important to me it's important to Him. I've had her in the house for over a week now. She's on something the vet fixed up for her to treat pneumonia. Only cost me $5, and I got it after just talking to him on the phone. Was so pleased to get help from my local vet, Ottawa Vet Hospital, where we've gone for 35 yrs. She's on it for 5-7 days so she'll be in for a while longer. She's better today. Eating and drinking much much better.
