Sorry Katy I put all that together while I was braising some rabbit with green beans. It was really a compolation of feelings and education. I didnt realize I was beating a dead horse! You have my love as a fellow chicken raiser!

I HOPE you guys realize I was just kidding. Perhaps some of you did. I did manage to get a laugh out of Katy.

Pumpkins..... Now that just might be worth experimenting with. In fact, I was considering planting pumpkins this year just so I would have a few to feed to my "girls" now and then. Yes, the few roos would be allowed to join in.

My problems is figuring out a fencing system to keep my hubby's goats out of the garden. They seem to manage to get out once in a while and deforrest my entire yard of any plant they can reach.
