Look who's little life I just Saved. Poor thing flew right into my window and fell to the ground. he seems to be ok , and as I type just flew off. Yeah I did my good deed for the day

Has anyone experienced this?: I think my silky hatched one of her two eggs. The shell looks like it had hatched. But no chick. I am thinking my chickens who have been hunting mice since I keep them locked due to the fox, snaged that chick and ripped it to shreds in seconds. Must have died of a heart attack!!!!! Poor silky mamma I think I am going to put a cage over her for her now last egg.
