BB hatching eggs are on our to do list. Every BB we've had has been sweet as all get out, they've just all been roos. He needs some BB girls.
It's amazing how many people driving by will stop to look at them that have never seen a live chicken in real life. Good thing there's room to pull over. I have had a few people ask me what they were. We also have a Silkie roo running around at the moment.
While our neighbors are good about it right now, you never know when someone's going to move and you'll get some not so accepting new neighbors. Since they are allowed with a permit, I am going to keep trying. We'd also like to raise awareness and help with getting more backyard flocks going here. Kind of necessary when you want to be as public as we're hoping to be.
