Congrats on your hatch!

I got one more pipping under my broody!!! Then we will be done. This last one is a cuckoo maran. If it hatches I will have a 100% hatch rate on the cuckoos!

I hope I just didn't jenks myself.

I still have them, and I dropped the price for the sake of making it feasible for anyone who needed to have them shipped. Meantime, they've started layng agan and I'm selling eggs from them like mad!

...just need more space!!!

So Renee -

do you still have this lovely flock? Or has someone already snatched them up? Just wondering...

I should have put a link to the auction- it has better pictures.

I've had a ton of bites... it's just that shipping a flock is by no means CHEEP!!!

Hey Daren, I wouldn't be opening the 'bator to remove hatched chicks to the brooder if you have others hatching, if I were you. I know quail can't go as long as chicks before they need to eat, but they can still go up to about 12 hours, so if you have any pipped or hatching, best to leave the hatched chicks in the incubator.

Awesome! It is such a great feeling to watch them hatch, isn't it? I was lucky that I had 4 hatch from my first stab at incubation. I admire your tenacity in continuing to try after your incubator let you down so many times. Not sure I would have had your stamina.
