My 2 1/2 week old New Hampahire red chick presented with constipation and a swollen vent this morning. Upon searching through some threads on this website I found out an enema was the fastest way to help her. I did what I could and seemed to clear her out for the most part. What I want to know is how to prevent this from happening again or to any other of my chicks. Also, how to heal her rear end that she has been pecking at, it seems irritated now. Any information will help!
