I want to live vicariously. Here in Texas we have had record breaking heat for weeks. The forecast for the rest of the week is all temperatures over 100. So tell me about cool, green and wet. Let me know that the whole world isn't baking. Please?

In February I love Texas, but in summer, not so much. Usually it's August before I'm totally sick of it, but this summer has been bad. It's even too hot to go to the pool. It will be 105* again today. Whine, whimper, pout, moan....

October can not come soon enough.

Well you asked for it....Here in southeast Idaho we have cool nights and warm to hot days in the summer. I love opening up the windows at night and feeling the cool night air fill the house. Most of the time if you close the windows in the morning the house stays cool all day. Our winters are far too long but I live for the summer and the cool morning and evening air. We've had an unusually wet year and everything here is lush and green.
However...we also have our bad weather at times...Hang in there...

Here in the mountains of North Carolina we very rarely go over 90. All last week we were in the low 80's. I've lived in TN (too hot), VT (too cold) and here. Weatherwise, this is utopia. And many other ways too. I'm home.

Well, here in the northeast it's been very cool and very wet. Yesterday, it was in the 60s and rained all day. We lit up the pellet stove, pulled on our fleeces and made extra coffee. So come on up here for one of the coolest summers in a long time!

It's been raining and cool enough to wear a sweater over here since Monday.
I know how you feel though. One summer a few years ago was the hottest one I'd ever experienced here. Our house was baking because we lived in an area with no trees, and my fiance came home one day to me crying while sitting in a tub of cold water.

The past couple summers have been cool. Last year it only felt like summer for three weeks, then it was cold and rainy the rest of the time.

See, I've been really questioning the sanity of people who believe in global warming cept for the fact I just got back from a trip to Waxahachie Tx, it was 105+ everyday I was there.......

Get back to michigan, 50-60 degrees, rainy and dreary. Wanna trade?

When you come to MA at the end of the month, please don't bring your 105 temps here. I don't enjoy this cool, rainy weather we have been having, but it is much better than hot, hot, hot!!!!!
