Coon in the yard at 330pm

I've got him treed now. Looks like a baby.

okay nobody laugh. I just happen to be in the yard heading to the coop to cool off the girls and this little coon comes walking by, looks like he's going for the coop. The closest thing I had was a tomato, so I threw it at him. I know, I know alot of damage that will do, but I had to see if he would come back at me if he might have been rabid. He ran up the tree. I went to get the gun. Now he's gone, but I'm sitting out here waiting.

Question: I'm going to put the trap out tonight, what's the best thing to bait it with? Cat food?

just don't use tomatoes.

Id would say anything just like most anyother animal that thing would eat anything ! you could try some cereal or wet catt food

I find that they love marshmelows. A sweet food will get them to come and you won't catch cats.

Tell DH to bring you a drink if you are going to stay out there and wait on that coon.

we make a coon sandwich. It is really a ham and cheese with mayo on white bread. It worked
