Coop Cam

So would you choose an ip cam over a deer cam that only takes snapshots? I was worried about it recording a ton because there would be constant movement, but I guess I could set it to record only at night with movement. I really hate to pay for a recording service. Yet, I'm not 100% confident in a deer cam catching any predators. Decisions, decisions....

See my link below. You can watch my flock. Video streaming doesn't cost more than the cost of hosting your website. At least that's what I found. Video cams and still trail cameras are just for fun. If the camera would shoot - now that would be cool. But at best, you get to see your flock is ok. At worse, you can see as they are being attacked. You can't get there fast enough. The cams can be set to send you am alert when there is movement - excuse me .... Hens are constant movement!! Just sayin' - the cams are for FUN.

Sab, forgive me for being a dope, but I went to your link, went to live cams then.... How do you view them? I see the tiny icons near the bottom but they don't seem to link to anything.

You have to be using FireFox or Safari or any other browser in the world BUT Internet Explorer to see the Cams. I have links to the download sites on the page. Microsoft does something kinky with security settings and ActiveX that just isn't worth messing with. Download FireFox. You won't go back to Internet Explorer ever again.

I'm in Explorer.

Google Mozolla FireFox - download and say yes to run. You will like it much more than Explorer. Promise. Explorer comes pre packaged on PCs. You don't have to use it to surf the web.
