coop light

its going to be really cold tonight. can I kerp my coop light on all night for warmth?

If it's just a regular light bulb, you're just wasting energy. They really don't need the heat. We're going on our second week of double-digit sub-zero temperatures, and my chickens are fine. They really do best when you allow them to acclimate naturally to the cold.
