[/IMG]i have been building this new coop all summer. It's an 8x8 shed kit from lowes. I finally got the inside organized. Still need to add more ventilation, caulk and paint outside and maybe add another roosting pole for my 13 chickens.

I threw this outer enclosure together to protect my babies Silkies from ANYTHING that might hurt them, including my Dogs. I am going to modify it with a steeped roof when it gets cooler. Right now I have 4 Silkies and 1 other pullet that is half Copper marans and half something else She's a weird looking pullet for sure. Her name is Happy Feet, because she kind of moved her feet around quickly after she was hatched. She's funny.

This is the pullet I was talking about. Her black comb is interesting, Just can't figure her out.

Mama is a Blue Favaucana. She is very broody and so I got some hatching eggs from a friend and she was a wonderful mother!
