The barred cockerel is an Olive or Easter Egger too...he has a beard and ear muffs. I see gold leakage on his wings and back so he may be a mix of Golden Cuckoo Marans and Easter Egger.

It appears so. If you were wanting backyard layers then they are perfectly fine for that but if you were wanting purebred breeders then I would not be happy.

Yes, we were told both the white ones were Easter Eggers, but they got the black one's breed wrong...

It appears so. If you were wanting backyard layers then they are perfectly fine for that but if you were wanting purebred breeders then I would not be happy.

just layers, so I'm not annoyed about the breed errors. I am annoyed about her giving me roosters, again. The original bunch we bought from her, all Polish, turned out to be 5 males and 1 female!

Pullet - her saddle feathers (lower back) are rounded and she has a small comb. By that age age a cockerel will have long pointy saddle feathers and a larger comb.

It is hard to sex chicks less than 3-4 weeks old.

With polish you can’t sex them till about 8 weeks, and sometimes then you can even be wrong no matter how experienced. The whites a pullet. Both of these are males
