That's how he died, I didn't see that. Now that to me is ridiculous.

Then I saw he travelled with a two headed baby. Who in their right mind banks money off their child who is two headed. I'd rather protect them from people making fun of them or gawking at them.

I never understood people honestly
Yeah! He choked on a piece of corn one night. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

And right!?!? That to me was so sad!!! Although I wonder if the baby actually existed or if it was one of those fake/scam type side shows??

Still sad though. :(

People will do anything for money. It’s ridiculous and pathetic.

I’m honestly kind of glad the rooster died because who knows how much longer they would have prolonged his suffering if he hadn’t!!

Choking on corn something a normal headed chicken wouldn't do. I can't believe the shows they had back in the day. I'd never go to one of those freak shows they had back then, I'd have nightmares.

Coronavirus got the TSC closed for the day in our little town.

The manager was not happy because too many customers were in the store. We have very few stores open so either everyone goes to Walmart or TSC.

I guess everyone decided it was a good idea to go to TSC. We grabbed our incubator and hatchet trying to stay a close distance from everyone. The manager we know and he said after us he was announcing he was closing for the day.

My 11yr old said to me today, Repunzel lived in Corona, huh? What you talking about, says Repunzel was the princess of Corona. Nah your being silly. Don't know where she heard that not on social media, not going to school so no influence there.
Had to google it
Found this , 😆

Did Disney's 'Tangled' Predict the Coronavirus Quarantine Back in 2010?
It turns out that Rapunzel was forced to practice social distancing to avoid contact with the Kingdom of Corona

" if Rapunzel can spend 18 years of her life trapped in quarantine, surely we can all handle a few weeks, right?"
OhMaGosh! That's so weird it's hysterical! I'm losing it, thinking of the scene where she finally gets free ... and imagining an entire world full of giddy Rapunzels! :gig

Thank you very much!! This is so sweet. And you make excellent points. I probably should have just put him down tonight but I wasn’t mentally ready to do that today and that’s probably selfish. :(

I’m going to tomorrow after I call the testing lab I think.

And thanks! I appreciate that. :love still considering having the vet do it especially cause I don’t want to mess up the test or anything when I send him in but then I think I should do it myself so idk.

I think a trip to the vet might stress him out too which I don’t want.
Most vets are curbside, these days. Maybe yours will come out to the car to handle this? Better yet, s/he may have a suggestion on how to handle it at home. It's worth a phone call to ask. Sending hugs and strength ...
:hugs

It was from someone else's breeding stock.

I'm still waiting for my new roosters to fertilize my flock. Someone said to wait 3 weeks.

I can't even keep chicks for myself everyone keeps buying them. Now I have no eggs 😑 until the morning 😂
I'll never forget the first party my sister had at the farm. There was no milk in the fridge and the milk truck had just emptied he holding tank. There we were. holding our coffee mugs with nothing to put in them. Mom & I marched into the milking parlor holding our mugs of steaming coffee, and got a fresh squirt apiece. It was priceless!

Kind of like us...

We have no eggs, no chicks, no ducklings...

Oh no I know it wasn’t and was not what you meant at all! No worries! :hugs You’ve been nothing but nice. :hugs but that is what I am telling myself. And that I’m too emotional and sensitive and not cut out for chickens.

I suppose I should probably make plans first like you said but I am a major overthinker. And my mind is loving having something new to overthink majorly.
It takes an overthinker to recognize another overthinker. 😉
And you are a perfectly fine chicken owner. Weird perhaps, but there is no law against weirdness. If there was I'd have spent a lifetime in jail already. 🤪

However, stop thinking...start doing.
It's perfectly fine to delegate the hard part to someone who can do it better than you so let your brother, dad, or a vet take care of it! And focus your energy on getting the testing done.
