prayers that all goes well.....i know things have probably been pretty frustrating for you guys considering this is a procedure that has maybe been postponed or maybe even prevented if not for the “situation”

Thanks Hen !! They said I am not allowed to go up w/ him but they said that about the drs visit too(same hospital) and I didnt let that stop me. They asked how did I get up there and I said same way as everyone else, I took the elevator. LOL

Even without a surgery, it'll be a good idea to sit tight for awhile, if only to let people get the worst of the locked-in craziness out of their systems! Prayers & healing-wishes are heading your way!

MROO, I have been actually enjoying this time forced home. Way better then drs appts. Just laying around being lazy .

We're getting pretty serious about both goats and the Guinea Hogs!! I've been talking about them to my husband for several years, but the coronavirus has made him more interested. I think he enjoys the chickens almost as much as I do, which helps. We have 5 acres and a barn surrounded by an overgrown barbed-wire cattle fence, so if two non-carpenter types can figure out a way to erect proper fencing without going bankrupt, I think we may take the plunge. At this point, I don't even know enough to ask proper questions, so I'm researching as much as I can. If you know of any books or online resources that are particularly helpful, I'm all ears.

I love those books!!! I have the chicken one and I’m pretty sure the duck one cause I wanted ducks at one point.

They have ones on meat goats and dairy goats.
