Pshaw maybe 2 1/2 days at the most.Of course, my husband would make it in a day & a half just to say he did. Roadtrips are always an adventure with him.
Who needs clothes, wear what you have on, we can worry about shower and clean clothes when you get here.
That's what everyone tells me until they ride in it. Then they want their own. We have had 12 horses comfortably working in this arena at the same time. It's awesome.
Only the good die young. How are you guys not dead yet!?![]()

And you SHOULDN'T feel unproductive, because THAT, my dear Lady, is the essence of "everyone doing their part!" Way to GO!While there are ads on tv etc that places are hiring....if they aren't in driving distance for me (40 miles) then it's not feasable.
Yes. Every person in my household is high risk. I am fortunate that my hubs and son are able to and still working. I am doing what I can to provide here. Chickens for eggs and garden is going in with a wide variety. It is all I can do and does keep me busy 10-14 hours a day when added to housework.
I do not feel unproductive.
Have you reported the issue to Admin? Even if it's fine, now, that's probably something the Powers That Be should be told about!I don't know if I am hallucinating or not. But a short time ago - got all kinds of error messages while on BYC. Bad gateway, notice that my backup whatever on computer was out, nothing was functioning right. Shut down computer - laid down for awhile (in case I was hallucinating). Got up - back to BYC and everything is just fine. Does that mean I was hacked or something.
Had a message a few days ago that someone on BYC was hacking me. Another BYCer said she got the same message. What the heck ???????? Makes me wonder if some of the new members I welcome are legit or not.
Hardware cloth - not only is it a better deterrent for predators that can easily push the holes wider, but it's sturdier than chicken wire and doesn't rust away!Thank you! The two horse stalls are concrete with full sliding metal doors and the coop has footers all the way around and heavy breathable stiff metal screens up half way, but the upper half is being sealed in with chicken wire (4-5 ft and above. What do u think about the top half..should I use something different? Thanks in advance!
I don't know if the flyovers are part of our military's "required hours" or not, but I do know that the info about maintaining hours is correct. I haven't looked up the official numbers (you could probably Google them,) but I did ask someone I consider a reliable source. One person's reason is another's excuse. It's easy to manipulate the information to fit your view or agenda. They do not provide any supporting information for that claim and we are just expected to accept it.
What are the minimum hours required? Are all of the pilots under that number? By when do they need to complete it? What do they normally do to complete it? and most importantly...How many extra hours are they flying by doing these? The last question will never be answered and by just saying...they need a minimum number of hours to maintain proficiency, is a blow off response.
If this is standard procedure "to maintain proficiency" then we would see them out flying in formation a lot more often. But we never have.
Oh well, good for the front line people being shown some love. I'll take a break from random rambling and ranting the rest of today![]()
