It's important to know where food actually comes from!
In school, and after, we visited small slaughter plants, and it is part of this. Also fishing, and cleaning fish, or hunting. And knowing what goes into raising grains and veggies, and egg production. Most people in the USA think that food grows at the grocery store!

Did y'all hear that Remdesivir is looking like a treatment for Covid-19? Patients are recovering faster when treated with it, hooray. Even CBS's Dr. David Agus and Dr. Anthony Fauci are speaking favorably of it.

I swear...these days I seem to get stuck in a giant loop of not thinking. Or remembering what day it is. Or how old I am..... until I try to do something I obviously should no longer be doing. Like digging holes for Hens. Er, um...I mean Hen's neighbors.

Heck, I never took a fast food job in high school simply because I didn't want to hate french fries for the rest of my life. I would NEVER risk steaks and burgers by working for a meat packer!

I did. And I still lurve french fries just fine....

Maybe it's the individual drivers? We've had nothing but wonderful service from both FedEx and UPS, very professional.

I swear I used to think that. Given some of my boxes would arrive with foot prints all over them, but I know how things get smashed up is usually not the driver's faults. I've had some really nice drivers too, but still got smashed or broken items.
Again, it's regional.

...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

My first job was at a Burger King. And I still lurve me a mini Whopper (with cheese!) and judge all other burgers by it. Can't beat that flame-broiled taste! With extra pickles, no onion! Well, shoot. Now I'm drooling.
