If everyone was concient

I'm allowed to take roosters to church! I always take at least one to "The Blessing of the Animals" in the Fall. They always let everyone know they're in attendance ... and are a huge hit with everybody. It's not just for fun, though. One goes to represent all of the animals in the food pipeline, those who deserve good care in order to provide for our needs, but don't always get it. One of my Nankin roos always goes - on a leash, not in a cage - as a representative of the endangered species for which we are ultimately responsible - domestic and wild. It's a pretty cool service that a lot of religious institutions observe. I HIGHLY recommend attending one ... and taking along a chicken!

Our church does also!
It’s always a beautiful service seeing everyone bringing their animals in, and how much lighter the air feels.

Not a rooster has been witnessed though! 🤣

No they don't. Athletes foot is compounded by the moist, warm conditions in your sneaks. If you go barefoot then you learn to avoid hazards, your skin becomes healthy like good leather if you take care of your feet. Shoes have nothing to do with the decency of a person; they used to indicate "status" and I find nothing decent in that.
I absolutely agree and would go shoeless at least 10 months out of twelve ... with flip flops for the snow! The problem with everybody going barefoot is that not everyone is a firm believer in soap ... and even without shoes ... some of those dogs STINK! :D

When we were kids, and we were broke $$. We would eat hamburger for a week. (Now I eat hamburger for a week, and I'm broke)! :barnie
That is so true. Yesterday I cooked two homegrown chickens. It was nice that I could provide that for my family and dogs. The dogs got one and the family got the other.

Chicken has even gone up in price it is so ridiculous. Hamburger is on the rise too. I am glad we have quail growing out right now for meat along with 8 meat chickens. This world has gone bonkers.

I wish ours did this!!! I would bring a whole trailer load :lau 4 dogs, a cat, 2 lizards, 30 chickens, 4 turkeys, and 25 quail... and a partridge in a pear tree

It is not my responsibility to ensure you are healthy, and I should not be restrained because you are not healthy. Chronic Health Conditions include mood disorders, so if it is only half, they are probably under counting. Last I checked, being bipolar did not contribute to COVID mortality. According to recent studies, the lockdown orders has resulted in more mood disorders, so we pay Peter by taking from Paul. Who gets chastised for causing those chronic health issues?

For those that are not healthy, stay at home, wear a mask, take vitamins or whatever makes you feel better, but don't expect the rest of us to play along just because you are worried about you. It is not like anyone is searching out the at risk and coughing on them. The term "misery loves company" seems applicable here.

You don't expect others to give up anything, but you are disheartened when they don't? How does that work?

I take it you don't understand the reason for wearing a mask. It is not for your protection, it is to help protect others from you. Since you could be sick and not even know it for several days, The mask you wear limits the amount of particles that come out of your mouth when you cough, sneeze or even just talking. By limiting that, that in turn limits the spread of the virus. I wear a mask at work for 9 hrs a day. Do you think I really like wearing it when I get off work? No I don't but that fact is I could be sick and not know it, and the last thing I want to do is make someone else sick. The people walking around with out them are doing nothing more then saying they are more important then you or your health is. I for one am not that selfish. I care about the people in my community to much. They mean more to me then a bit of discomfort the mask I am choosing to wear to protect them is causing me.

:gigI agree with you! I love being barefoot but I scrub my feet every day.

Suggest it now, while there's still time to plan. In the time of Social Distancing - it would make a GREAT outdoor service!
*Note - I highly recommend leaving the truck load home ... at least for the first time, just pick a few. Once the service is a success (and you know it will be, because people LOVE to show off their pets,) you can reserve the truck for NEXT year!!! :D

If you read the original post that cited the mask as an example of valid reasons to "infringe upon" others" civil liberties, you'll know that it's not about masks. The mask example was turned in an effort to continue the argument.
