Our church does also!
It’s always a beautiful service seeing everyone bringing their animals in, and how much lighter the air feels.

Not a rooster has been witnessed though! 🤣
I have three that have been officially Blessed ... one of them TWICE!

So anyone that disagrees with the cool kids is a Troll. My understanding of a Forum Troll was someone who inspires flaming rhetoric or purposefully provoking others. I see how it works now, but I thought forums were for the exchange of information, not to isolate certain opinions. My error.

I did not realize that one is required to join a thread within a certain period of time to express a dissenting opinion. Where is that in the forum rules and etiquette? I did not think it would be IAW the rules to start a new COVID thread just so I could express a differing opinion.

Ad hominem attacks, such as name calling, is generally a sign of a bad argument or a bully and sometimes a Troll.

You really should lighten up a little. Humor is great medicine. It is also not about me, but about how this country was founded and the rights that each of us have. I am not willing to forfeit those rights because of a virus that is rarely fatal, especially based off the advice of an organization that is wrong as often as it is correct. Some of us take liberty seriously and if that offends you, then that is your issue to deal with.
I am not easily offended. Amused? Yes. Offended? No.

It seems that you wish to bless us with the gift of your opinion but don't appreciate respect that we are allowed to have our own. And being more blunt, or direct if you will, about your opinion does not make it more right.
Many of us human beings here on BYC were born in the good 'ol US of A. We have the right to have our own opinions and express those opinions, no matter how much you may not like them or may disagree with them.

People (generally) with a "It's my way or the highway" type of thinking or delivery of attitude aren't usually after thoughtful dialog, so, thank you, but no thank you.

Suggest it now, while there's still time to plan. In the time of Social Distancing - it would make a GREAT outdoor service!
*Note - I highly recommend leaving the truck load home ... at least for the first time, just pick a few. Once the service is a success (and you know it will be, because people LOVE to show off their pets,) you can reserve the truck for NEXT year!!! :D
I would only bring 2 dogs at the most

If you read the original post that cited the mask as an example of valid reasons to "infringe upon" others" civil liberties, you'll know that it's not about masks. The mask example was turned in an effort to continue the argument.

Yeah, I figured that out after I replied and finished getting caught up.

I absolutely agree and would go shoeless at least 10 months out of twelve ... with flip flops for the snow! The problem with everybody going barefoot is that not everyone is a firm believer in soap ... and even without shoes ... some of those dogs STINK! :D
Yep. And some of those stinky dogs carry planters warts.
:sick
